This early summer work began as a plein air of a peaceful looking bird house that felt as though it was one with the environment it resided in. I felt a strong desire to express appreciation for the tranquil moments that can be easily overlooked. I was captivated by the idea of seeing this little space from a bird’s point of view, as well as an infatuation in the organic patterns and structure within this bird sanctuary.
